Thanks Redman Brothers

A favourite for Rachelle and I, we always enjoy a bottle of Redman wine…tonight a 2007 Shiraz from the South Australian region, Coonawarra; one we’ve visited three times and counting.

Best in some large crystal glasses 🙂

Book Published!

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

Last year I posted a blog Book Cover – “Path To The Wormhole” where I mentioned my stairtrail photo from Lake Fyans, which I titled Path To The Wormhole was going to be the cover for Tracy Daugherty’s book.
Well, Tracy’s book has been publised and my copy arrived this week! It looks awesome, and looking forward to reading Tracy’s stories! Here’s the Amazon link.

Carlie – Newborn Photography

Meet the adorable little Carlie…soon to be a pilot!

With my wife due this week, Carlie’s parents traveled to my home from Mornington. For a few of the shots we themed travel and helicopters as Carlie’s dad is a pilot…and I’m guessing she may even be one in the future.

Karen & Bekim, it was lovely to meet you all. Carlie was a perfect model, I hope your photos will bring you many smiles and beautiful memories over the years 🙂

“…..brains, brains, brains….” was the screeching cry…as the zombies took over Melbourne’s streets on Saturday, creating havoc.

Some photos from the shuffle below …

ANZAC March 2010 – Event Photography

Sunday, April 25th, 2010

I cannot believe ANZAC day has come around again so quickly…

…this year the ANZAC Day march in Melbourne brought with it some unfortunate drama with a heritage vehicle losing control and reportedly running over 7 veterans.

Once again, the march evoked many emotions. Again like last year, I felt so proud to be an Australian, with a strong crowd there to cheer them on. It was awesome to see so many young Australians both supporting and marching.

Lest we forget them…

Candace – Model Photography

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

It was wonderful to be able to have the opportunity to photograph such a naturally beautiful lady in some amazing textured locations.
Last week Candace and I spent some time shooting in some of Melbourne’s colourful and captivating laneways as well as down by the Yarra River. We wandered many km’s, venturing through a variety of awesome lanes with fascinating character.
Here’s a selection of my favourite photos from the shoot.

Moomba 2010 – Event & Festival Photography

Monday, March 8th, 2010

Australia’s largest free community festival celebrates Melbourne’s people culture and its most beloved characteristics. The Moomba Parade, a Melbourne tradition, returned in 2010 with another colourful and energetic display.

Spectacular floats with more than 1,400 community members taking part, the theme of this year’s Parade was “Moomba is Melbourne and Melbourne is an eventful city”. Floats celebrated everything Melbourne is famous for; its people, its sport, its art, its food and wine – even its weather.

Pako Festa 2010 – Event & Festival Photography

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

The Pako Festa is the largest free multicultural event in Australia, held in Geelong. Attracting thousands of people, the event has a parade, performances, cultural food, workshops, art and craft exhibitions, street performers and a range of free activities for children.

This year, I only had enough time to photograph the parade.
